Danny rescued my car's paint. Blue Ridge Mobile Detailing didn't have the lowest estimate but Danny's prompt and professional responses to my calls and text messages convinced me his company was the right choice. I was very happy with the results. When I drove across wet yellow road line paint I thought I would just buy some cleaner and spend 30 minutes cleaning my car in my garage. I quickly learned I was going to need a professional. Actually I feared the paint had cured and would never come off. It was not just a few specks of yellow paint. (see pictures) Danny explained the process he would use to get the paint off and that it needed to be done ASAP. He scheduled me for the very next day (Saturday) and had my car finished by noon on Sunday. On time and under the estimate he quoted. My car looked great! Danny not only got all the yellow paint off my car and the under carriage, he improved the paint on the entire car so it all matched and looked as good if not better than the day I bought it. And he cleaned the inside with the same amount of detail. My car's interior looked like new from floor to ceiling but didn't have any harsh chemical smell inside. I even found a car air freshener, (un opened so I could choose to use it or not) a brand new microfiber cloth and a few pieces of individually wrap hard candy on my center consol. If you think your vehicle is too far gone to ever be clean again, I would definitely recommend Blue Ridge Mobile Detailing. Danny was very knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. Frequently Asked Questions
Are ceramic coatings completely impervious to everything?
No — they’re highly resistant to road spray, dirt, bird droppings, and occasional acid rain, but they’re not a total shield against every form of environmental damage. Following the recommended maintenance schedule keeps protection performing as intended.
Can I apply ceramic coating myself?
DIY kits exist, but they’re not the same as a professional-grade System X® application. Proper installation requires meticulous surface prep and controlled application technique to achieve real bonding and durability — which is exactly what our System X® certification trains us to do.
Does ceramic coating mean I never have to wash my car again?
No — it means washing is dramatically easier, not eliminated. The hydrophobic surface means dirt and contaminants bond less, so washes are faster and safer for the paint, but regular washing is still part of maintaining the coating’s performance.
Can debris still damage a ceramic-coated vehicle?
Yes. Coating absorbs minor impacts and resists light abrasion and UV exposure, but it isn’t immune to deep scratches, rock chips, or heavier impacts. We’ll always set realistic expectations so you get full value from the investment.
